Newsletter / Job Alerts If you sign up for one of our newsletters, we save the information you provide for purposes of sending you the newsletter and providing information relevant to this service or the signup process. Lawful basis is Article 6, paragraph 1, subsection 1, point (a) GDPR. Click and open rates are analyzed in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, subsection 1, point (f) GDPR. Personal information is stored on the secured servers of our processor and will not be disclosed by us to third parties. Your valid e-mail address is required in order to receive the newsletter. You are not required to provide other highlighted information, which is used in order to address you personally. We also store the IP address you use to sign up for the newsletter and the date and time you subscribed to the newsletter. This information serves as evidence in the event of misuse if an unfamiliar e-mail is used to sign up for the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can cancel your consent by clicking on the link included in each newsletter e-mail or by sending a message to our data protection officer mentioned above. We use the so-double-opt-in method for signup to our NewsClick Newsletter as well as our Career newsletter. This means that after you have signed up, we will send an e-mail to the specified e-mail address asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. Use of our BAUER store (www.bauer-products.de) If you want to order products from our online store, you must provide personal information, which we require for processing your order and concluding the contract. Information required for the conclusion of contracts is highlighted; other information is voluntary. We process the data you provide in order to process your order. In doing so, we may pass on your payment information to our principal bank. The lawful basis for this is Article 6, paragraph 1 , subsection 1 point (b) GDPR. The data is stored on a revocable basis in a customer account so that your information is available for subsequent purchases. You can manage the information of your user account in the customer area. We process your personal information as long as you maintain a customer account and as long as storage of the information is necessary in order to fulfill our contractual obligations. Use of our Career Portal (www.bauer.de/bauer_group/career/) The personal information and files you provide in the Career Portal are used for the submission and processing of your online application. Your personal information is stored on the secure servers of our processor and also forwarded appropriately if there is a corresponding vacancy in an affiliated company or department of the BAUER Group. The information and files marked as mandatory fields are necessary for our internal requirements. This means that you cannot participate in the online application process if you do not provide us with this information. |

Use of our Customer Center (https://customercenter.bauer.de) Our Customer Center is a customer and business partner portal that offers personalized online services such as a used equipment portal, a spare parts and information system as well as a feedback form (the above information on the contact form applies to the Customer Center). If you wish to use our Customer Center, you must sign up by specifying your personal information and position, which allows us to assign you the appropriate access permissions for the individual modules, and accept the terms of use for the portal. The signup process is not completed until you have been assigned access permissions for individual modules and you have logged into the forum using a password sent to you in a confirmation e-mail. |

Use of social media plug-ins We currently use the following social media plug-ins: YouTube, Facebook, Xing, LinkedIn, RSS feed. We use the two-click method for these plug-ins. In other words, when you visit our site, initially no personal information is passed on to the provider of the plug-ins. The provider of the plug-in can be identified by its initial letter or logo on the icon. We allow you to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection, according to the German companies of these providers.
